Bring your favourite tipple and spend a fun-filled evening making three gorgeous personalised Christmas decorations. Choose your own colours, designs, and add names if you like – whether it’s family members, pets, or your own name to mark the year you made them. Jennifer will guide you through creating beautiful glass ornaments while you sip, chat, and sing along to all the Christmas classics.

What You’ll Make

Three personalised glass Christmas decorations (approximately 8-10cm each) in designs and colours of your choice. Popular options include:

• Stockings – classic Christmas shapes in any colour
• Christmas trees – festive and fun
• Snowmen – for the kids (and big kids!)
• Angels – traditional and elegant

Each decoration can be personalised with names, dates, or left plain – completely up to you. All come with proper hanging fixtures on the back so they’re ready to hang on your tree.

Why This Evening is Special

Collection

Your decorations need to be fired in the kiln, so they’ll be ready for collection a few days later – perfect timing to hang them before Christmas! We’ll confirm exact collection details on the evening.

Collection from the studio is recommended (and it’s exciting to see them all glossy and finished!), but posting is available if needed.

Your Tutor: Jennifer Barker – Lead Instructor & Founder

Jennifer has been working with glass for over 30 years, having discovered her passion for the medium while studying at Wolverhampton and Staffordshire Universities, where she completed a BA and MA in Glass.

Her expertise spans the full spectrum of glass techniques – from delicate kiln-formed pieces to large architectural installations. Jennifer’s specialist areas include kiln-formed glass, surface manipulation, and kiln-casting, but she’s equally passionate about traditional techniques like stained glass and copper foiling. For 12 years, Jennifer was Head of the Glass Department at Glyndwr University, where she discovered that teaching glass art was almost as addictive as making it.

What sets Jennifer apart as an instructor is her genuine love for sharing knowledge. She believes that anyone can learn to work with glass beautifully – it just takes the right guidance, encouragement, and plenty of hands-on practice.
